MyoVision® 3D-sEMG
Since 1989, Dr. Chris Watson, D.C. has been instrumental in bringing the future diagnostic procedures to the chiropractic community.
This equipment utilizes technology developed by NASA trained sEMG researcher, David Marcarian, MA. MyoVision® has the unique capability of quantifying the electrical activity of the various muscle groups. This information in combination with the other diagnostic tests used in our office, gives invaluable information regarding the specific muscular aspects contributing to each patient’s condition.

Porellixe Vibration®
Vibration therapy is a relatively new science in the physiotherapy arena that is gaining momentum as a valuable tool in restoring proper form and function to a deconditioned body. Recent research has suggested many benefits to vibration therapy, which include increases in muscle activation and recruiting. Other suggested benefits are increases in bone density and a decrease in percent body fat.
The effects of this therapy are instrumental in the rehabilitary process of neuro-muscular re-education. We are just scratching the surface of this new technology and are excited with the results we have been seeing as we integrate the Prorellixe Vibration® unit into many of our programs a Watson Chiropractic.
ATM Back Project ®
The ATM® or Active Therapeutic Movements, is a unique system that isolates specific areas that need to be strengthened and stretched. Flexibility is a major component of health, and the ATM® stimulates not only the tensile aspect of stretching a muscle group, but the neurologic aspects as well. Often tight muscles are due to a refusal of that muscle to relax to its constant over-activation by the nervous system. These mechanisms can become hard-wired as new postures develop due to injury or the avoidance of painful movements.
The ATM® restores the normal tension of muscles by removing the painful stimulus associated with certain movements as well as causing relaxation of muscle groups through reciprocal inhibition. At Watson Chiropractic the ATM® has become a valuable asset in many of the diverse cases we see. Cold
Light Laser
Cold Light Laser Therapy (CLLT) has been utilized in chiropractic and plastic surgeon offices alike for years due to the increases in healing time that is seen with this new therapy. CLLT works by increasing the efficiency of the electron transport chain within the mitochondria of the cell. It can be equated to a catalytic converter in a car. The mitochondria are simply the engines of the cell.
The biochemical effects of the Microlite® Cold Laser provides a more efficient energy producing process by decreasing the amount of waste or exhaust that is produced in the manufacturing of the cell’s energy. By doing this the healing and functional capabilities of the cell increase exponentially. This tool has become an invaluable asset in the progress made with the types of acute soft tissue injuries treated through the various programs we offer at Watson Chiropractic.
